Written by OK, so now I kinda get AppRocket. The deal is you just use it. The more you use it the better at least as far as I can tell.
Tonight I deleted ALL the desktop shortcut icons from my laptop and started using AppRocket to access my applications and files. For the most part it’s doing what I want and I’m saving time and energy. For things that AppRocket doesn’t do like navigating to web sites and minimizing application windows I’m using ActiveWords.
My dream application would be something scriptable like ActiveWords with the ability to filter and index like AppRocket. I can see the indexing feature coming to ActiveWords. The guy who runs ActiveWords seems way to get way too much not to see the value of incorporating AppRocket style index and launch capability to his already stellar application.
The future of computing gets brighter every day.
